UGC National Eligibility Test (NET-Assistant Professor) or State Eligibility Test (SET) qualified candidates are eligible to apply for Assistant Professors. PhD degree holders as per the UGC norms are exempted from NET or SET compulsory norms. Hence, candidates having PhD degree can apply Assistant Professor posts without NET or SET qualification.
As on 11 December 2020, there are three Higher Education Departments of three States are recruiting Assistant Professors.
