Bodh Gaya: Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya (IIMBG), a part of IIM BSchools in India, has invited applications for Faculty Positions. The positions are available for the following subjects: Organisational Behaviour, Operations Management, Strategy, Marketing, Finance & Accounting and Economics. Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Assistant Professor on Contract posts are available.
The Institute is looking for candidates with significant research output and with good teaching record. Preference would be given to young candidates. Preference would be given to young candidates. Fresh PhD candidates should be able to demonstrate their research and publication potential.
All candidates must have a doctoral degree in a relevant field (with a first class in the preceding degree) as the minimum qualifying criteria. Candidates with proven track records of publications in reputed peer reviewed journals commensurate to the rank would be preferred. A candidate who has recently completed or is close to completion of the doctoral degree should demonstrate strong research and publication potential.
Candidates who have recently completed their doctoral degree without adequate relevant work experience would be considered only for an Assistant Professor on Contract position. Candidates with prior appropriate academic and professional experience may also apply for Full Time Visiting Faculty positions.
For a permanent position, the work experience requirement is as follows:
Professor: Minimum 10 years relevant experience, of which 4 years must be at Associate Professor level at IIMs or other peer institutes in India and / or abroad.
Associate Professor: Minimum 6 years relevant experience, of which 3 years must be at Assistant Professor level at IIMs or other peer institutes in India and / or abroad.
Assistant Professor: Minimum 3 years relevant experience (part-time work experience while doing doctoral research will not be counted).
