Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh: Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), Amarkantak has released recruitment notification for appointing teaching posts in its various departments. The total number of vacant positions are 37 in its 27 departments. Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), a central university, has main campus at Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh and regional campus at Manipur.
Key Dates: The opening date of online registration is 01 November 2017. The closing date for submission of online application is 30 November 2017 and submission of hardcopy of application along with enclosures is 10 December 2017.
Eligibility Conditions: The recruitment for all the above faculty posts will be as per UGC Regulation, 2010 as amended from time to time.
Assistant Professor – (PB-3 with AGP ₹6000/- As per UGC Regulations, 2010 as amended from time
to time)
Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s degree level, in the relevant subject or an equivalent degree from an Indian/Foreign University.
Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Candidates, who are, or have been awarded Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants
Commission (Minimum Standards and procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulation, 2009, shall be
exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET for recruitment and
appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions in
accordance with the permission laid down in the 4th amendment of the UGC Regulation, 2010.
