Mumbai: Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC), Mumbai is on hiring spree. KVIC has released recruitment notification to hire 342 professionals. Major vacant positions exist in the following category of posts: Executive (Village Industries) – 109 posts; Junior Executive (FBAA) – 67; Executive (Khadi) – 31; Executive (Training) -23; Senior Executive (Ec.R) -37; Assistant Director Gr.I (Village Industries) – 18 posts; Assistant Director Gr.I (FBAA) – 16 posts ; and Assistant Director Gr.I (Village Industries) -18 posts.
Key Dates & How to Apply: Opening Date & time for Online Registration of applications (Step-I) is 22 October 2017 (from 10:00 hrs). The last date & time of closing of registration (Step-I) and submission of application (Step- II) is 19 November 2017 (Upto 18:00 hrs.). The last date & time of closing of registration (Step-I) and submission of application (Step- II) is 19 November 2017 (Upto 18:00 hrs.).
The last date & time of closing of submission of on-Line application fees through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking through SB collect system of State Bank of India (SBI) (Step-III) is 21 November 2017 (Upto 18:00 hrs.). The tentative date of Computer Based on-line Examination is 23/24 December 2017.

Eligibility Conditions for Executive (Village Industries) – 109 posts: Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology from a recognised University; or Master of Science from a recognised University; or Master of Business Administration with Bachelor of Science from a recognized University.
Eligibility Conditions for Junior Executive (FBAA) – 67 posts: Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized University. Desirable: Chartered Accountant / Cost and Management Accountant/Master of Business Administration (Finance)/Master of Commerce from a recognized University.
Eligibility Conditions for Executive (Khadi) – 31 posts: Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology in Textile Engineering or Textile Technology or Fashion Technology from a recognised University.
Eligibility Conditions for Assistant (Village Industries)- 7 Posts: Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor of Science from a recognized University/ Board/Institute.
Assistant (Training) – 04 posts: Diploma in Engineering or Bachelor of Science from a recognized University/Board/Institute. Desirable: Certificate Course of at least three months’ duration from a Departmental Training Centre of Khadi and Village Industries Commission.
Executive (Training) – 23 posts: Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology from a recognised University, Or Master of Science from a recognised University, or Master of Business Administration with Bachelor of Science from a recognized University. Desirable: Certificate Course of at least three months’ duration from a Departmental Training Centre of Khadi and Village Industries Commission.
Exam Cities: The computer based on-line examination will be held in 21 cities: Delhi/NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Guwahati, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Nagpur, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Ahmadabad, Jammu, Bhubaneswar, Varanasi and Shilong.
