New Delhi, 19 December 2020: Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India, invites  online applications from Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (Grade-II/Executive) i.e. ACIO-II (Exe) in Intelligence Bureau.

The total number of vacant Posts are 2,000 (Two Thousands):

  • UR- 989
  • EWS -113
  • OBC – 417
  • SC – 360
  • ST-121
  • Total= 200

Key Dates: The application window will be operational from 19 December 2020. The online application portal will close on 09 January 2021 (23:59 hours).

Applications should be submitted online through www.mha.nic.in or www.ncs.gov.in .

Application Fees:   It has two components: Examination Fees of Rs 100 /- & Recruitment Processing Charges: Rs 500, which is to paid as given below:

Male Candidates of General EWS and OBC Categories : Fees to be Paid- Examination Fees + Recruitment Processing Charges

All SC/ST, all Female candidates and All ExSM: Fees to be Paid – Recruitment Processing Charges Only

Eligibility Conditions: Graduation or equivalent from a recognized University.

Desirable Knowledge of computers.

Age Limit:  18-27 years

 Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST & by 3 years for OBC.

Upper age limit is relaxable for departmental candidates’ upto 40 years of age who have rendered 3 years of regular and continuous service.

Upper Age Limits relaxable is available some other category candidates, please refer the Employment Notification.

As per notification, the eligibility of the candidates in terms of age, educational qualification, caste/category etc. will be determined on the closing date. The candidate must be Graduate or equivalent from a recognized University on or before the closing date, i.e., the final result must be out on or before the closing date, i.e.09 January 2021  (till 2359 hours) and he/she must have been declared successful in it.

Selection Process: The Recruitment Notification mentioned that the candidate has to appear in Tier-I at one of the test centres. The Test will be conducted on an all India basis in various cities.

Only those candidates would be called for Tier-II exam who come up to a certain standard in Tier-I. There will be a minimum cut off marks in Tier-I (Out of 100 Marks).

Based on combined performance in Tier-I & Tier-II, candidates would be shortlisted for Tier III (Interview). The date, time and centre of which would be intimated to them through the application portal as well as E-mail.

Based on combined performance in Tier-I, Tier-II & interview, the candidates would be shortlisted for final selection subject to successful completion of their Character & Antecedent verification followed by medical examination.
