Greater Noida, 19 December 2020: Galgotias University Greater Noida, a leading private university in Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications for PhD Admission –Winter Session 2020-21. Both Full Time and Part Time PhD Courses available.
Key Dates & Application Fee: The closing date for submission of online application is 23 December 2020. The date of entrance test is 03 January 2021.The date of interview is 03 & 4th January 2021.
The application fee is Rs 1100.
Eligibility Conditions: Master degree in Engineering / Technology/Science/Business Administration/Pharmacy/Humanities/Social Science/Languages/Law/ other with a minimum 55% marks (CGPA 6.0 on a 10 point scale)or equivalent.

Admission to PhD will be two stage process:
PhD Entrance Test (PET)
A Personal Interview (PI) written test shall be conducted by CoE office and Interview to be conducted under supervision of Dean PG & Research by respective School Deans along with SRC.
The Entrance Test shall be qualifying with qualifying marks as 50%. [The Entrance test will have 50% questions from research methodology and 50% questions from respective discipline.] The Entrance Test shall be conducted at the Centre(s), notified in advance (changes of Centre, if any, also shall be notified in advance).
Entrance Test may be exempted for the following cases:
- Candidates with M.Phil. Qualification provided they were admitted to the M.Phil. Program through an Entrance Test.
- Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET, GATE, UGC-CSIR NET
- Candidates who were admitted previously to a Ph.D. Program at a recognized university through an Entrance Test and wish to transfer to the Ph.D. program at GU.
- Candidates from the industry having 10 years of experience or above.
