New Delhi, 18 July 2020: Public Universities including Central Govt and State Government controlled are popular destination for students and career aspirants. These universities also offer attractive career opportunities for teaching and academicians.
There are more than 17 such govt. universities or public institutions which have opened faculty recruitment window. These premier institutes include IITs, Central Universities, and Institutes of National Importance.
IIT Roorkee has opened faculty recruitment window. Currently, there are five central universities have opened their faculty recruitment window. These faculty posts are available at the following levels: Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and Professors. The recruitment process is based on the UGC /AICTE and Central University latest norms.
The total number of posts are more than 1,500 faculty posts in these 17 public universities.
These five central universities include: Central University of Odisha (CUO), Pondicherry University, Central University of Rajasthan, Banaras Hindu University and Aligarh Muslim University. AMU is recruiting for more than 200 faculty posts while BHU is hiring for more than 500 posts.
National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is recruiting 266 academic positions including 142 Assistant Professors. The closing date for submission of application is 03 August 2020.
