Kolkata: The National Institutes of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTRs), formally known as TTTIs, set up by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India in Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai and Kolkata to improve the quality of Polytechnic education system in the country, invites applications from Indian Nationals for the post of Professor/Associate Professor in its various departments of the Institute.

Applications are invited from Indian nationals including Persons of Indian Origins (PIOs) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) for the posts of Professors and Associate Professors in the various departments of the Institute at Kolkata. Currently the Institute has 5 departments viz: Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Education and Management (E&M).

Key Date: Last date of the receipt of the applications is 11 October 2018.

Eligibility Conditions: PhD with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout. In addition, for:

Professor: Ten years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least four years should be at the level of Associate Professor in Central Institutes / state universities.

Associate Professor: Six years Teaching/Research/Industrial experience of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor in Central Institutes/State Universities.
