As on 19 November 2021, there are Five Central Universities that have opened faculty recruitment window. These posts are available at the following levels: Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors.

According to the UGC existing norms, candidates who qualify National Eligibility Test or State Eligibility Test (SET) are eligible to apply for the post of assistant professor. University of Delhi Recruitment of 267 Assistant Professors; Online Application Portal Opens
New Delhi, 02 November 2021: University of Delhi (DU), a Central University, has opened application portal for recruitment of Assistant Professors. The total number of vacant posts have been hiked to 267 in various departments.
The application portal has opened from 01 November 2021. The closing date of application is 22 November 2021 or two weeks from the date of publication of the Advertisement in the Employment News, which is later.
The UGC has extended the date of applicability of PhD as mandatory qualification for direct recruitment of Assistant Professors from 01 July 2021 to 01 July 2023.
Accordingly, PhD will not be a mandatory qualification for this advertisement.
