New Delhi: Ramjas College, a college of the University of Delhi based in North Campus of the university, has invited online job applications for Assistant Professors. The total number of vacancies is 128. The closing date for application is 19 August 2017.
The vacancies exist in 14 departments of the college. The college informed through recruitment notification that all the above posts carry UGC pay scales plus admissible allowances. Major vacancies are available in the following departments: Physics (24), Chemistry (20 posts), Commerce (13), Mathematics (11), Botany (10), and others. Eligibility Conditions: The qualifications are in accordance with the UGC regulations 2010 and their subsequent amendments as adopted by the University of Delhi
- Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC/CSIR.
