Mumbai: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released recruitment scheme for CWE CLERKS-VII for Vacancies of 2018-19. The online examination (Preliminary and Main) for the next Common Recruitment Process for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre Posts in the Participating Organisations is tentatively scheduled in December 2017 & January 2018.
For IBPS CWE Clerks-VII, 19 Participating PSU Banks will recruit candidates for Clerical posts. The tentative number of posts in all the participating Banks is 7,882. Indicative state-wise and category-wise vacancies of each of the Participating Organizations are given in the recruitment notification of IBPS.
Key Dates: The On-line registration including Edit/Modification of application by candidates will open from 12 September 2017 while it will close on 03 October 2017. The Online Examination – Preliminary will be held on 02 December 2017, 03 December 2017, 09 December 2017, and 10 December 2017. The Online Examination – Main will be held on 21 January 2018. The Provisional Allotment will be during April 2018.
Eligibility Conditions:
Education: A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate must possess valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he / she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Age (As on 01.09.2017): Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years. Hence, a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1989 and not later than 01.09.1997 (both dates inclusive). The relaxation of upper age is available as per government norms
Selection Process: The examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, Preliminary and Main. Candidates who will qualify in Preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination. Depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2018-19 based on the business needs of the Participating Organisations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations keeping in view the spirit of Govt.
The validity for CWE Clerks-VII will automatically expire at the close of business on 31March 2019 with or without giving any notice.
