New Delhi: Opportunities galore for Graduate candidates as Indian Railways has notified to recruit more than 1100 candidates for Sub-Inspectors (SI) posts for its  Railway Protection Force (RPF) of various Zones of Indian Railways and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF).

Online applications are invited from eligible Male and Female candidates for the recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in Level 6 of 7th CPC Pay matrix for the vacancies in Railway Protection Force (RPF) of various Zones of Indian Railways and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF). The total number of vacant posts are 1120.

Key Dates: Date of Opening of Online registration: 10 hrs on 01/06/2018.  Date of Closing of Online registration: 23.59 hrs on 30/06/2018.  Tentative Date for Computer Based Test (CBT): In September and October 2018.

Scale of Pay: Level 6 of 7th CPC pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs. 35,400/- plus other allowances admissible at that time.

Age: On 01.7.2018 the age of candidate shall be between 20 – 25 Years. The relaxation in upper age limit/maximum upper age for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen candidates as per GOI Rule

Vacancies: Total Vacancy for Male Candidates=819 & Total Vacancy for Female Candidates=301

As per Govt of India instruction, the reservation for Ex-servicemen (ESM) shall be 10% of the combined vacancies of male and female of each group of zones.

Educational Qualifications: Graduate from a recognized University & must be a citizen of India.

Examination Fee:

For all candidates examination fee is Rs. 500.00

For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/Female/Minorities/Economically backward class exam fee is Rs.250.00
