New Delhi: Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance to Postgraduate Programs (Master’s and Doctoral) with Ministry of Education (MoE) and other Government Scholarships / Assistantships, subject to the admission criteria of the admitting institute.
There are many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) also recruit Graduate Engineers based on GATE Score. These PSUs use GATE Score for shortlisting candidates for their Graduate Engineer Recruitment drive. The closing date of regular online registration / application portal for GATE 2021 is 30 September 2020.
Till now Five Central Government PSUs, One State Government PSU and One Central Government Organization have officially notified for their upcoming recruitment drive for Graduate Engineers through GATE 2021.

DRDO releases Short Notice for Recruitment of Scientists B – 2021 through GATE
New Delhi: Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC) of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released a Short Notice for upcoming Direct Recruitment of Scientist ‘B’ in DRDO -2021.
The short notice said that recruitment for vacancies in the subject/disciplines for which GATE is conducted will be based on valid GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score and/or written test/interview. The Notice stated that all the aspirants possess a valid GATE qualification (for GATE disciplines) and a NET qualification for Associate Professor (for Psychology discipline) while applying for future vacancies.
NMDC Limited will recruit Executive Trainees via GATE 2021
NMDC Limited, is an Indian public sector mineral producer, has announced to recruit Executive Trainees (Engineering Graduates) on the basis GATE 2021 score in various technical disciplines subjects to availability of vacancies.
Executive Trainees 2021 Through GATE 2021: All interested candidates and eligible candidates will have to appear GATE 2021. Candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process based on GATE 2021. NMDC will recruit Graduate Engineers in the disciplines of Electrical, Mechanical and Mining. The online application process will commence from January/February 2021.
IndianOil will recruit Engineers through GATE 2021 in five disciplines
New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation (IndianOil) has announced Recruitment of Officers/Engineers through GATE-2021. The recruitment of executive engineers will done on the following disciplines: Chemical (CH), Civil (CE), Electrical (EE), Instrumental (IN), and Mechanical (ME).
Shortlisting for Group Discussion, Group Task and Personnel Interview will based on GATE 2021 score in respective disciplines. Score of GATE 2020 will not be valid. Candidates should apply separately for GATE 2021 and IndianOil.
Coal India Limited will recruit Management Trainees (Engineering Graduates) via GATE 2021
