The Golden Peacock Award, instituted by the Institute of Directors, is regarded as a benchmark of corporate excellence worldwide. It has been scrutinizing hundreds of applications to recognize the achievement of well performing organizations since the last 30 years. The Golden Peacock Certification exercise has enabled industries to think, prepare and march ahead for changing future of work environment, learning process and economy.

The jury deciding the award was headed by former Chief Justice of India (CJI) Justice MN Venkatachaliah and included several senior bureaucrats. This year, hundreds of applications were received for various categories. After careful deliberations, applications were shortlisted and ONGC Academy was selected for the award in Oil Production Sector.
