Hyderabad: Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world’s largest association devoted to human resource management, concluded the 3rd edition of ‘SHRM India HR Technology Conference & Exposition’ today at the Novotel Hotel, Hyderabad. SHRM Tech is Asia’s fastest growing HR conference with a powerful confluence of people, business, and technology.The two day conference and exposition brought together 850+ delegates, including mid & senior level HR professionals and corporate leaders from organizations across all sectors.

SHRM Tech 2017 laid the stage for developing an effective digital HR strategy andenhancing the intended goals of HR. Global trends like Artificial Intelligence and leveraging big data were deliberated upon in a nutshell.Many important aspects of the confluence of Technology and HR werealso identified and extensively discussed during the course of the conference.

Three notable launches were made during the conference this year. First one being the product launch of “Litmos by CallidusCloud”, aimed at creating a new category known as Learning automation. Litmos will put learning at the center of the workflow, automate daily tasks and can be deployed across all channels and devices.Whereas the second important launch at the conference was–“Habit Forming Cloud & Mobile Platform in Supporting Employee Wellbeing: An India Study, 2017 by SHRM and Zoojoobe”. This study is the first of its kind in India making it a truly unique and relevant report. According to this report, a strong evidence has been found that healthy habit forming platforms help reduce workplace stress and further improve job satisfaction as well as organizational commitment in employees.

Last but not the least, there was the Launch of the “1st ever Sierra Cedar HR Tech Landscape Study for Asia”.The research findings will assist organizations with developing their HR systems strategy, devising a plan, justifying investments, and ultimately executing on their HR technology vision.

The key focus of the conference was on the complete reinvention of the HR Platforms, softwareand tools collectively known as the ‘digital HR architecture’. The conference also had an exposition area where the latest in HR technologies were on display giving conference participants a first-hand experience of the latest digital solutions and productivity enhancers that are available at present.
