IIM Rohtak has successfully completed the final placement process for the Batch of 2021 with 100% placements for the eligible students. This year witnessed a 75% increase in the participation of new companies. Organizations like Xiaomi, GamaSec, Diaspark, Phable, Genpact, ZS Associates, and Mindtree are among the 70+ new recruiters who exhibited interest in IIM Rohtak students for the first time. Loyal recruiters like Deloitte, Indus Valley Partners, Bain Capability Network, Tata Steel, NatWest Group, Capgemini, and Cognizant, among others, continued to impose faith in the ability and corporate readiness of the students. This year also witnessed a good number of Pre Placement offers being given by various top recruiters. Over all, more than 100 companies participated in the placement process this year.

The year 2020-21 was full of uncertainties but our student placement committee worked hard and received strong facilitation from the institute. The efforts of placement committee resulted in excellent outcomes even in the COVID situation that the world is dealing. The unwavering support of our loyal recruiters and participation of several new companies in our placement process has helped us culminate our placement activities for this year well in time.”
Consulting, Sales & Marketing, and Finance were the most sought-after domains. This has been observed due to the diversified pool of student talent at our institute that catered to the wide range of profiles required by the industry. The institute has increased diversity in the PGP batch with over 70% of the female students in the batch and 50% students being non-engineers. This diversity has also been appreciated by the recruiters who offered highly sought-after roles to our students. IIM Rohtak has strengthened its focus on Analytics and Consulting with over 50% of the batch being placed in this domain. Some of the prominent firms offering such roles were Bain Capability Network, KPMG, Infosys Consulting, Deloitte, OfBusiness, Axtria, Mu Sigma, and Capgemini.
39% of all the offers made were in the marketing domain. The roles that were offered include Brand Manager, Market Research Analyst, Product Manager, Marketing Consultant, and Business Development Managers. Some of the prominent recruiters included ICICI Bank, Tata Steel, IndiaMart, AuthBridge, Diaspark, and Blackhawk. IIM Rohtak is well on its way to demonstrate its prowess in Finance domain as well with 10% of the students opting for such roles in this domain. The major recruiters in this domain were Deloitte, NatWest Group, and InteQuant.
