Jabalpur, 11 April 2023: Atal Bihari Vajpayee (ABV)-Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior , an Institute of National Importance, has announced PhD Admission for 2023-24.
ABV- IIITM Gwalior invites applications for admission to Full-Time/Part-Time Ph.D. programme in the field of Engineering, Management, and Applied Sciences. The selected candidates shall be entitled for fellowship (except institute project employee) as per GoI norms.

Basic Eligibility Conditions for Full Time PhD:
For Engineering: Candidates must have a M.Tech/ M.S./ M.E. or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the institute with a minimum of 65% marks or CGPA of 7.00 on a 10 point scale in qualifying degree in CSE (Computer Science and Engineering)/IT (Information Technology)/EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) /ECE (Electronics and Communication Engineering) with first division at undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech) level. Additionally, the candidates must have qualified the GATE/NET examination. The requirement for GATE/NET can be exempted for the candidates having both the Master’s and the B.Tech with CPI 8.0 or above. Exceptionally good candidates having a bachelor’s degree with CPI 8.0 or above and a valid GATE score may also be considered for the Ph.D. admission.
For Management: Candidates must have-
M.Tech./M.E./M.D. or equivalent with First division (minimum 65% marks) or 6.75 CGPA on a 10-point scale & GATE score or equivalent for medicine
M.Sc./MBA/M.A./ MBBS or equivalent with First division (minimum 60% marks) or 6.75 CGPA on a 10-point scale & valid CAT/GMAT/GRE Score or JRF/ICAR/ICMR/DST fellowship or exams like CSIR/UGC NET.
B.E. or B.Tech equivalent with 75% marks or 8.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale & Valid GATE score.
For Applied Sciences: Candidates must have M.Sc./M.Tech./M.E. or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the institute with a minimum of 65% marks or CGPA of 7.00 on a 10 point scale in qualifying degree in Physics/Applied Physics/ /Engineering Physics/Computational Physics and Mathematics/ Nano science & Technology /Nano Biotechnology/Materials Science/Quantum Computing/ Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Engineering Mathematics/Industrial Mathematics or any other branch related to Physics/Mathematics with first division at undergraduate (B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech) level. Additionally, the candidates must have qualified the GATE/NET examination. However, the requirement for GATE/NET can be exempted for the candidates having both the Master’s degree and Undergraduate degree (B.Sc., B.Tech., B.E.) with 75% or CGPA 8.0 or above.
The candidate must produce NOC from the current organization.
