Total Vacant PhD Seats: The total number PhD seats available are 588 across 41 subjects. These PhD seats are available in the University of Allahabad Main Campus and its 8 constituent colleges: Chowdhary Mahadev Prasad Degree College, Allahabad Degree College, Ishwar Saran Degree College, Jagat Taran Girls Degree College, Sadanlal Sanwaldas Khanna Girls Degree College, Arya Kanya Degree College, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Government Degree College, and Ewing Christian Colleges.
Selection Procedure: Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET) 2020 and Interview. The following category students are exempted from CRET: Teacher of the University or Constituent Colleges candidate for PhD ; The candidates qualified in Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) conducted by UGC/CSIR.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of online application is 28 August 2020. The online application portal has opened from 28 July 2020.
