New Delhi, 19 November 2023: In India there are 32 National Institutes of Technology (NITs). These Institutes carry Institutes of National Importance (INIs) tag and are dream destination for PhD Scholars. These research universities offer Institute Fellowships as per Ministry of Education norms.
These institutes offer attractive Teaching Assistantship or Institutional Fellowships to PhD scholars.
As on 19 November 2023, there are four NITs have opened PhD Admission for January 2023 session. The total number of Institute Fellowships seats are expected to more than 175 seats with Institute Fellowships.

Tadepalligudem, West Godavari, 18 November 2023: National Institute of Technology (NIT)) Andhra Pradesh, Tadepalligudem, is an Institute of National Importance, announced Admission for PhD and MS (by Research) programs for December 2023. Both Full Time and Part Time PhD Programmes are available. Half Time Research Assistantship (HTRA) is available to the full-time scholars who are admitted to PhD programmes in different departments.
