Bilaspur, 19 September 2021: Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, a Central University Chhattisgarh, in invites online applications for admission to the various programmes for the academic session 2021-22 through Vishwavidyalaya Entrance Test (VET) and Vishwavidyalaya Research Entrance Test (VRET). These two tests will be conducted online.
Vishwavidyalaya Research Entrance Test (VRET) will be conducted in 30 subjects for PhD programmes.
PhD Admission will take place under two categories: Vishwavidyalaya Research Entrance Test (VRET) and VRET Exempted Category.
Total Number PhD Seats: The total number of PhD seats are 466: VRET – 357 Seats ; VRET Exempted Category-133 Seats.
VRET Exempted (For UGC-NET (including JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/ Teacher Fellowship holder/GPAT/JEST/RGNF/DST-Inspire or any other category as notified by the UGC from time to time).

- Closing date of Online submission of Application forms : 23.09.2021
- Online Entrance Test Dates (VET+VRET) : 30.09.2021 & 01.10.2021
- Declaration of results : 06.10.2021 (05.00 PM)
- Dates for VRET Admissions/Interview : Will be declared later on
Application Processing Fee:
For VRET/VRET-Exempted – Rs. 1000/- + Bank Charges for GEN, OBC and EWS, Rs. 500/- + Bank Charges for SC/ ST /PWD candidates.
