Hyderabad, 10 November 2021: International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad has released Admission Notification for PhD Programmes for Spring Semester 2022. Research Assistantship for PhD Students is available.

Admission Procedure: Applicants are shortlisted based on a General Aptitude test conducted online. More details about the online exam, including a mock test, will be provided subsequently. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for an interview. The final admission decision is solely based on the interview performance.
Research Assistantship for PhD Students:
A minimum of Rs.15,000/- and upto Rs.21,000/- per month (Based upon performance in course work) until completion of Comprehensive Examination.
A minimum of Rs.22,000/- and upto Rs.30,000/- per month (Based upon candidates performance in research work) after comprehensive examination.
Eligibility for Application in Brief:
Applicants must satisfy the following criterion.
Completed B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Electrical Engineering or MCA, M.Sc in Computers and Electronics.

Financial Assistance:
Full-time Ph.D. students are given scholarships that provide a monthly stipend and cover tuition fees. The total stipend amount varies from Rs.20,000/- to Rs.35,000/- depending on the stage of the student in the Ph.D. program.
Students are provided generous travel support to present their published research work in reputed conferences.
All students can also gain experience in teaching via Teaching Assistantship positions.
