Sri City, 14 June 2022: Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Sri City (Chittor, Andhra Pradesh), an Institute of National Importance under Ministry of Education, has announced PhD Admission for Monsoon Session 2022-23. Both PhD Full Time and Part Time Admissions are available.
Key Dates: The candidates should apply be 04 December 2021.
Last date for submission of applications via online with relevant documents is – 18 July 2021.
Late date for submission of the hard copy of the application with related documents via speed post/courier is 25 July 2021.
Application Fee: Application Fee of Rs. 500/- for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL category and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates (to be paid through SB Collect only) and the transaction receipt must be uploaded in google form and attach a hard copy with the application.
Candidates who got admission to PhD Programme (Full-Time) are eligible for the fellowship as per the institute/MHRD norms.
Eligibility:
Admission to Ph.D. in CSE: a) Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in CSE related specializations with Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in CSE or related branches with a minimum of 60% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) in UG and PG for admission under GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL category and 55% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA of ≥ 6.0/10) for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
b)Direct PhD admission: Exceptional Candidates having B.E / B.Tech in CSE or related branches from Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI) with CGPA of 9.0 or above and demonstrated research potential by means of research papers, IPs and similar research outcomes may also be considered.
Admission to Ph.D. in ECE:
Master’s degree (M.E./M.Tech) in ECE related specializations and Bachelor’s (B.E./B.Tech) degree in ECE or related branches with a minimum of 60% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) in UG and PG for admission under GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL category and 55% (or above) aggregate marks (CGPA of ≥ 6.0/10) for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
