Mumbai, 24 January 2024: IIT Bombay – Monash Research Academy (The Academy) has invited applications from eligible candidates for PhD admission in various research programs for the session June 2024.
IIT Bombay- Monash Research Academy is a partnership between IIT Bombay and Monash University, Melbourne (Australia). The Academy is under-pinned by a PhD Agreement between IIT Bombay and Monash University, students will receive a dual-badged PhD degree from IIT Bombay and Monash University.

Last date for applying to IITB Monash Research Academy June 2024 PhD intake is 26 February 2024.
The minimum entrance requirements for PhD admission are:
First class or equivalent Master’s degree in a range of disciplines
First class Bachelor’s degree and a valid GATE score
Satisfying requirements of academic qualifications and English Language proficiency of Monash University.
NOTE: Candidates without a valid GATE score or research fellowship can be considered for admission if they have a minimum of two years professional experience. Competition for places is high and a competitive selection process is applied to all applicants.
Scholarships:
Rs 4,92,000 per annum scholarship for the first two years
Rs 5,52,000 per annum after first two years
A grant of up to A$33,000 per annum in Australia
A maximum of one year in Australia working with your Monash University co-supervisor, waiver of international student tuition fees at Monash University.
