Dharwad, Karnataka: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dharwad, an Institute of National Importance, has announced PhD & MS (By Research) Admission for Spring Semester 2020-21. IIT Dharwad admits PhD. candidates under the full time research scholarship or Teaching Assistantship (TA) and part-time externally sponsored research scholars.
Teaching Assistantship (TA) Financial Support: Funded by MHRD, the Teaching Assistantship (TAs) are expected to assist in the academic/administrative work for smooth functioning of the Institute. Students under this category are entitled to the financial support as per the MHRD norms.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 22 November 2020. The announcement of shortlist and online interview schedule (tentatively) 24 November 2020. Online Interview ends on 11 December 2020. The declaration of final list of selected candidates is on 18 December 2020.

Selection process/criteria
Round 1: All the eligible candidates will be invited for preliminary screening.
Round 2: Top 10-15 candidates selected from Round 1 will be invited for the second session of online interaction.
The final list of main and waitlist candidates will be decided by performance in round 2.
