Kharagpur, 22 March 2024: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, an Institute of National Importance, has launched three new MTech programmes for Academic Year 2024.
These Three Specializations are as followed:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Safety Engineering & Analytics
- Operations Research and Data Analytics
Admission MTech in AI will be though through GATE papers DA, CS, EC, and EE.
Online Application portal for MTech Admission 2024 through GATE Score will commence from 26th March 2024 (Tentatively). For 2024-25, a total of 54 Specializations available for MTech programmes.
The M.Tech course curriculum is divided into four semesters. The first two semesters are dedicated to build a strong foundation through ten theory courses, of which four are compulsory. Students can choose six electives from the list of available courses offered by the Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence and some other departments of IIT Kharagpur. The last two semesters are dedicated to project work and internships.
