Mandi: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, an Institute of National Importance, has opened PhD Admission Portal for its School of Humanities & Social Sciences – Even Semester 2020-2021. Both Full Time and Part Time PhD available. Full Time Research scholarship support is available.
PhD Programme will commence from February 2021.

Sociology: Urban Studies, Sociology of Religion, Post reform India; Tribal Issues in contemporary India; Infrastructure Development.
History: Intellectual History/Intellectual Biography of Medieval India; Transitional History; Latin American History
Management: Consumer Behavior Marketing
Translation Studies: Cognitive Science/Psychology/ Human- Computer Interaction
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application is 30 November 2020. The date of Written Test & Interview will be announced soon.
Eligibility Conditions: Post Graduate degree in relevant field with minimum 55% marks; in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH is relaxed up to 5%.
Must have qualified UGC-JRF/NET or Equivalent examination.
