Gorakhpur, 19 July 2021: Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), a state university in Uttar Pradesh, has announced PhD Admission for 2021-22. The total number of PhD Seats are 60.
PhD Admission will be held through Malaviya Entrance Test (MET).
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of online application is 4 August, 2021 (5.00 PM).
The Malaviya Entrance Test (MET) for admission in PhD shall be conducted on 22 August 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Eligibility for Admission in PhD
Engineering & Technology
Candidates who possess 1st division Master’s degree in relevant discipline of Engineering/ Technology. If a division is not awarded, and CGPA/CPI is adopted, 6.75 will be considered equivalent to first class/ division.
Science & Humanities
Candidates who possess the master’s degree with 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system from an Indian University or equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University in Physics/Chemistry/ Mathematics, relevant discipline of Humanities for admission to Ph.D. program in Economics/English/Psychology and relevant discipline of Management for admission to Ph.D. program in Management
Total Number of PhD Seats: The total number of PhD seats are 60 across 11 departments.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of application form is 31 July 2021.
Candidates have to pay the application fees Rs.500/- (each Department) online through SBI Collect System using Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking. Payment link will be accessible on & from 15 July 2021.
All applicants must have successfully completed at least 2 (two) Year M.E./M. Tech./M. Arch./M. Pharmacy or 3 (three) Year M. C.A. degree OR equivalent degree from any University/ Institute recognized by UGC and course is approved by AICTE. Final year students may also apply, but their registration (if selected) will not be processed unless they submit their final result by 31st October 2021.
