Madurai, 22 August 2021: Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU), a state university in Tamil Nadu, has announced MPhil and PhD Programmes 2020-21. The university will conduct PhD (Full Time/Part Time)/ MPhil (Regular) Common Entrance Test for available seats in various disciplines for the year 2021-2022.

The closing date for submission of online application is extended to  09 September 2021.

Madurai Kamaraj University is currently offering Ph.D. (Full Time/Part Time) Programmes in 49 subjects & M.Phil. (Regular) programmes in 43 subjects in its departments and affiliated colleges.

Considering COVID 19 pandemic, MKU will conduct the PhD and MPhil Common Entrance Test via Online Mode.

Key Dates: The closing date for submission of online application is 09 September 2021 (After Extension).

The online portal registration fee is Rs.2000/- for PhD and Rs. 1500/- for MPhil, (Rs.1000/- and Rs.750/-respectively for SC/ST Candidates) inclusive of eligibility certificates for passing candidates.

Students who are pursuing their final year PG Course may also apply for the Common Entrance Examination for PhD programmes. The Pass Certificate will be issued only on production of attested copy of Cumulative Mark Statement ensuring minimum eligible percentage of marks in PG Degree.
