Durgapur, 30 January 2021: National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur, an Institute of National Importance, has invited applications from eligible candidates for Institute Post-Doctoral Fellowships. Post-Doctoral Fellow shall be paid a fellowship amount of Rs.50,000/- per month consolidated pay.
These are temporary research positions for one year which may be offered to those who seek to choose research as a profession.

Eligibility Conditions: Candidates with a PhD degree in appropriate discipline, with consistently good academic record throughout, can apply for the Institute Post-Doctoral Fellowship positions.
Fellowship Grant: Post-Doctoral Fellow shall be paid a fellowship amount of Rs.50,000/- per month consolidated pay. If available, suitable on-campus accommodation may be provided as per NIT Durgapur norms. No House Rent Allowance will be paid.
