New Delhi, 10 August 2021: In India, there are more than 50 Central Universities.In these universities students from anywhere in India can apply as CUs controlled by Government of India.
As on 10 August 2021, there are 08 Central Universities which have opened admission for PhD programmes. The total number of seats are available are more than 3,000 seats.

Visva-Bharati University Announces Admission 2021: PhD for 272 Seats

Mahatma Gandhi Central University, Motihari Announces Admission 2021-22: 117 PhD Seats
Motihari, Bihar, 03 August 2021: Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU), Motihari, has announced Admission to various programmes for academic year 2021-22. These programmes include Under Graduate , Post Graduate and Doctoral.

North-Eastern Hill University Announces Admission 2021 for PhD, MTech, PG, UG Courses
Shillong, Meghalaya: North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, a Central University in Meghalaya, has released Admission Notification for Academic Year 2021-22. Admission is open in the following courses of study: B.A.LL.B.(Hons)/ B.Arch./ B.Tech./ M.Tech./M.B.A.(Agri-Business & Food Technology) / Master of Tourism & Travel Management(MTTM)/ M.Sc. in Horticulture and PhD.
How to Apply and Application Fee: Students applying courses/programmes in Shillong as well in Tura Campus are requested to apply online on payment of Rs.800/- and Rs.400/- (for SC/ST category) and for Ph.D. Programme Rs.500/- and Rs.250/- (for SC/ST category) and the payment will be online using Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking through SBI and HDFC Bank. The admission fee is not refundable.

Central University of Kashmir Announces Admission Test 2021 for PhD, PG, UG Programmes
Ganderbal,Kashmir, 06 August 2021: Central University of Kashmir (CUK), a Central University under Govt of India, has announced Admission Test 2021. CUK has invited online applications for Under Graduate, Post Graduate, PhD Programmes, Integrated and other Progarmmes for Academic Year 2021-22.
CUKAT 2021 will be conducted at test centres at designated places in the country. The Dates for Entrance Test are 07, 08, 09 September 2021.

University of Delhi Entrance Test 2021: PhD Admission in 52 and MPhil Admission in 32 Departments
New Delhi, 26 July 2021: University of Delhi, a Central University, has opened Application portal for PG, MPhil/PhD Admission for 2021-22 today (26 July 2021). The National Testing Agency will conduct Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) 2021 in 27 cities across India for MPhil & PhD Admission.
The University of Delhi has been declared as the Institution of Eminence Education (MoE) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited it as one of the top universities in the country with a CGPA score of 3.28 with A+ grade.

JNU Entrance Exam 2021: Application Portal Opens for 662 PhD Seats
New Delhi, 28 July 2021: The application portal for Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) 2021 is open now. On behalf of Jawaharlal Nehru University, the National testing Agency, the National Testing Agency will conduct JNUEE 2021.

Pondicherry University PhD Admission 2021 for 214 Seats ! Fellowships at Rs 8K Per Month
Pondicherry, 19 July 2021: Pondicherry University, a central university accredited with A Grade by NAAC, has released official admission notification for the academic year 2021-22.
