Coimbatore, 10 August 2021: Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, a state university in Tamil Nadu, has released Notification of Common Eligibility Test (CET) for MPhil Programme (December 2021) and PhD Programme (December 2021 & July 2022).
Key Dates & Application Fees: The closing date for submission of online application is 31 August 2021.
Online Test : Date & Time of CET : 20 September 2021, 11.00 a.m to 12.30 p.m
Admissions shall be made through an Common Entrance Test (CET) followed by an interview. Application Fee : Rs.500/- for all candidates and Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates (Community Certificate to be enclosed without fail).
UGC/CSIR-JRF NET/SLET/GATE/ Teacher fellowship holders / Scientist working in DRDO / faculty of Air Force Administrative College/foreign candidates need not appear for entrance test.
Candidates who have successfully completed CET during 2020 are eligible to seek admission in the forth coming December 2021 session only and need not appear for CET during 2021.
Passing minimum of 15 marks out of 50 is mandatory to get eligibility for admission to M.Phil., and Ph.D., programmes as per the Regulations of Bharathiar University.
