Bangalore, 10 August 2020: Bharat Electronics Limited, a Navartna PSU under Ministry of Defence, is recruiting 308 Trainee Engineers –I and 203 Project Engineers –I on contract basis for its Bangalore Complex. These posts will employed at Bharat Electronics Limited, Export Manufacturing, SC & US, Military Radars and Military Communication SBUs of Bengaluru Complex:
Total Vacant Posts: The total number of Trainee Engineers –I are 308 while total number of Project Engineers –I are 203.
Educational Qualification:
4 years full time B.E / B. Tech Engineering course from a reputed Institute/University in the Engineering disciplines of Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Telecommunication / Communication/ Mechanical/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics. First Class is the indicated qualification for General, OBC and EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC, ST and PwD candidates.
Post qualification Experience as on 01.08.2021:
Trainee Engineer – 1
Fresh Engineering graduates in the indicated disciplines may also apply. Freshers should have completed 8th semester examinations and all other requirements for award of Engineering Degree in 2021 and should produce Provisional Degree Certificate / Engineering Degree Certificate at the time of joining (probable date of joining is October 2021). Candidates who are currently still pursuing Engineering Degree or have backlog papers from previous semesters, need not apply.
Project Engineer – 1
2 years relevant post qualification industrial experience. Only relevant post qualification experience will be considered.
Upper Age limit as on 01 August 2021:
- Trainee Engineer –I – 25 Years
- Project Engineer-I – 28 Years
Upper Age Relaxation is available as per government norms.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of online application is 15 August 2021.
Selection Procedure:
Aggregate Marks secured in qualifying degree (BE/BTech) – 75% Weightage
Relevant Post Qualification experience: 10 % – 2.5 marks will be allocated for minimum experience stipulated for the post. 1.25 marks will be allocated for every completed experience of 6 months subject to a maximum of 10 marks.
Interview: Candidates will be shortlisted for the interviews based on the above, in the ratio of 1: 5.
Interview for shortlisted candidates – 15 %
Total: 100 Marks
