New Delhi, 26 October 2020: There are more than 950 universities in India. PhD Admission in India is done through two cycles or sessions. The January 2021 cycle for PhD Admission has gained momentum.
State Universities and Central Universities are dream destinations for students and PhD aspirants. As on 26 October 2020, there are Seven State Universities and Three Central Universities have opened PhD Admission for January 2021. The total number of PhD Seats are likely be to more than 1500 in these ten universities.
IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, a technological university in Punjab, has announced PhD Admission for January 2021. Vidyasagar University, Midnapore, Gauhati Uiversity, and Annamalai University released PhD Admission notification. Meanwhile, Gujarat Technological University and Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Karnataka have opened application window for PhD Entrance Test 2020.
Goa University has Announced PhD Admission for 290 Seats October 2020. Three central universities have released PhD Admission Notification for Sikkim University, Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), and Nagaland University.
