Noida, 08 January 2021: Sharda University, a leading private university in Greater Noida, has announced PhD Admission for July 2021. PhD Admission is available for Full Time and Part Time. Full-time eligible students may get Fellowship cum Assistantship as per Sharda University rules.
Key Dates: The closing date for submission of Application is 23 July 2021 (Friday) 5.00 PM. The date of Entrance Test is 30 July 2021 (Friday). The Date of Interview is 06 August 2021 (Friday) onward. The application fee is 1500 /- .
Eligibility criteria for admission to PhD degree in Sharda University:
A candidate must have cleared post-graduate (PG) degree or equivalent of minimum duration of 2 years from a UGC recognized Indian / foreign university in respective discipline with score of minimum 55% or equivalent CGPA. A 5% relaxation in score for SC/ST/OBC i.e minimum of 50% in PG degree or equivalent CGPA is allowed.
Candidates with valid selection from NET / GATE / SET / UET / any other equivalent test conducted by GOI accredited agency (to be decided by the selection committee) are exempted from entrance test but have to appear in interview. M.Phil. degree holders from UGC accredited universities are also exempted from entrance test.
Admissions to PhD program (full-time and part-time) in July 2021 of Sharda University will be made strictly according to the merit and availability of seats through Entrance Test followed by Interview.
COVID 19 Pandemic, Entrance Test will held via Online Mode.

Scheme of Entrance Test: The online Entrance test will have 70 MCQ to evaluate knowledge in core subject (50) and research aptitude (20) for 70 marks; Entrance test will be followed by interview for 30 marks.
Fellowship cum Assistantship: Full-time eligible students may get Fellowship cum Assistantship as per Sharda University rules.
Fellowship for Full time PhD Scholar: For NET/GATE (valid score) qualified: Rs.25,000/-, Rs.25000/- and Rs.27,000/- for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year respectively whereas for non-NET/GATE qualified: Rs.18,000/-, Rs. 19,000/- and Rs. 20,000/- respectively. Fellowships are subject to conditions given in the notifications.
