New Delhi, 20 February 2024: Universities in India admit PhD students in two sessions: July and January. For June-July 2024 or Semester I of 2024-25 session has just kick started as a very few universities have started admission process.

As on 20 February 2024, Six Premier Government Research Universities have announced PhD for 2024-2025 Semester I.

Raman Research Institute Bengaluru Announces PhD Program PhD Admission 2024-25 for 23 Seats

Bengaluru, 20 February 2024:  Raman Research Institute is an institute for scientific research located in Bengaluru, India.  It was founded by Nobel laureate C. V. Raman in 1948.

Students at RRI are registered for their PhD degree with Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. RRI is also a participant in the Joint Astronomy Programme (JAP) with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Central University of Haryana Announces PhD Admission 2023-24 (Winter Session) for 113 Seats

Mahendergarh, 18 February 2024: Central University of Haryana has announced PhD Admission for 2023-24 (Winter Session).

Total Vacant Seats:  The total number of vacant seats are 113 in 19 departments.

Key Dates:

The application portal opens from 16 February 2024.

The application portal closes on 06 March 2024.

University of Queensland- IIT Delhi Academy of Research Opens PhD Admission July 2024

New Delhi, 17 February 2024: UQ-IITD Academy of Research (UQIDAR) has announced Admission to Joint PhD programmes for June-July 2024 session. Australia’s University of Queensland (UQ), a top 50 global university, and IIT Delhi, an Institution of Eminence, had come together and established the UQ-IITD Academy of Research (UQIDAR) to run a joint PhD programme to support scholars across diverse discipline areas to deliver global impact.

Key Dates: As per the admission notification, Eligible candidates should submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by 17 March 2024.

IIT Gandhinagar Announces PhD Admission for Semester I 2024-25 Sem I with Fellowships

Gandhinagar, 10 February 2024:  Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar, a National Institute of Importance, has announced PhD programme for the academic year 2024-25 (Semester I).  Institute Fellowships are available.

Key Dates:

The online application window has opened from 31 January 2024.

The online application window will close on 20 March 2024 (5:00 PM)

IISc Bangalore Announces Admission 2024-25 for PhD, MTech, Msc, BTech

Bangalore, 09 February 2023: Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, India’s top ranked Research University, has Announced Admission for 2024-25 Academic Year.
