New Delhi, 25 August 2022: In India there are more than 50 Central Universities and 32 National Institutes of Technology.

As on 25 August 2022, there are two Central Universities and One NIT have announced PhD for 2022. The total number of vacant PhD seats are expected to be more than 250.

 List of Central Universities and NITs Open PhD Admission:

  • Jawaharlal Nehru University- 23 September 2022- JRF and GATE Category
  • NIT Uttarakhand- 08 September 2022
  • Central University of Rajasthan – 175 Seats -28 August 2022
  • Nagaland University – 30 August 2022

JNU PhD Admission 2022-23: Application Portal for JRF and GATE Category Opens, for JNU Entrance to Open Soon

New Delhi, 26 August 2022: Jawaharlal Nehru University, India’s top ranked university, has released the prospectus for PhD Admission and Diploma in Proficiency for academic year 2022-23.

The candidates seeking admission into Ph.D. programmes have to appear in the CBT (Computer Based Test).

JRF qualified candidates shall be exempted from Computer Based Test (CBT). They are required to apply separately under JRF category. Such candidates shall be shortlisted and called directly for viva-voce.

GATE qualified candidates for the admission in the school of Engineering shall be exempted from Computer Based Test (CBT). They are required to apply separately under GATE category. Such candidates shall be shortlisted and called directly for viva-voce.

The application portal for JRF qualified and GATE qualified category candidates is open now.

The application portal for Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE)  2022-23 will open very soon, as the notification from JNU.

NIT Uttarakhand Announces PhD Admission for Odd Semester 2022 ! 20 Seats with Institute Fellowship

Garhwal, Uttarakhand, 22 August 2022: National Institute of Technology (NIT), Uttarakhand, an Institute of National Importance, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to PhD Program (Full Time / Part Time) for Odd Semester 2022.

Categories of PhD Admission:

Full Time (Self Sponsored)

Full Time (JRF/SRF Sponsored)

and Part Time Part-Time research scholars

The total number of Full Time (Institute Fellowship) seats are 20.

Central University of Rajasthan Announces PhD Admission 2022-23 for 175 Seats

Ajmer, 10 August 2022: Central University of Rajasthan has announced PhD Admission for 2022-23 session.  The total number of vacant PhD seats are 175 in 27 subjects.

Candidates who have qualified any national level examinations (NET/JRF of UGC/CSIR, ICMR, ICAR, GATE, GPAT and DBT-JRF, etc.), sponsored candidates, teacher fellowship holders and teachers of CURAJ can apply for various Ph.D. Programmes .

Key Dates:  The closing date for submission of application is 28 August 2022.

Nagaland University, a Central University, Opens PhD Admission 2022 for More Than 120 Seats

Lumami, 22 July 2022:  Nagaland University, a Central University, has announced Admission to PhD Programmes for Academic Year 2022-23.  These PhD Programmes are available at its Kohima Campus, (Meriema), Lumami and Dimapur Campuses.

The total number of  PhD Seats are available are more than 120.

The closing date for submission of application for Engineering Subjects are 10 August 2022.

The closing date for submission of application for other subjects (except Engineering Subjects) is 30 August 2022.
