Bhagalpur, 27 July 2021: Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, formerly Bhagalpur University, is a public university, Bihar, has announced PhD Admission Test -2021.  The total number of PhD Seats are 539 across 23 subjects.

Eligibility Conditions: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale or an equivalent grade in appoint scale wherever grading system is followed, and relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, will be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/EBC/OBC/Different-abled categories of candidates.

Candidates who have secured grants for research such as fellowship/ scholarship/ associate ship etc. by qualifying UGC/NET/CSIRNET/ GATE/MHRD Scholarships/ Teacher Fellowship/ DBT/ ICMR/ ICAR/ DSTINSPIRES/ CSSIR,ICHR etc. are exempted from the PhD Admission Test 2021.
