Nagpur, 10 May 2024:  Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, an Institute of National Importance, has invited applications for PhD (Full Time) and PhD (Part Time) program admission for July 2024 session. Financial Benefits for PhD (Full Time) scholars with Teaching Assistantship is available.

PhD Types:

Candidates (Non-sponsored) with Teaching Assistantship

VNIT’s M.Tech. Students with Teaching Assistantship

SRF / JRF / research staff of R&D projects sponsored to VNIT

Sponsored candidates (place of research work VNIT only) DST Inspire/CSIR/UGC fellowship or equivalent

Sponsored Candidate from 100% centrally funded research laboratories including public sector and private industries

Direct admission of B.Tech. / B.E. students to PhD

Full time : Non GATE/NET/SET

Part time : GATE/NET qualified

Part time: Non GATE/NET

PhD Admissions are available in the Fellowship/Scholarship and Sponsored/Self-Financed/Part time categories.

Key Dates:

Last date of accepting of application  form in hardcopy (by speed post/hand delivery) is 07 June 2024.

Last date of uploading Google form of application – 07 June 2024
