Mumbai: The Official website of CAT 2016 has already uploaded the Mock Test. Aspirants who will be appearing CAT 2016 can appear for the mock test by logging in to the official website of CAT 2016. To appear the mock test, candidates need to submit requited details at iimcat.ac.in.
The total duration of the test is 180 minutes which each section has 60 minutes. Meanwhile for PWD (Persons With Disabilities) candidates, each section will have 20 minutes extra. Hence, total time for each section is 80 minutes for PWD candidates while total duration of the test is 240 minutes for PWD aspirants.
Once the candidate starts answering a section, the clock (displayed at the right corner of the mock test screen), will start ticking. On the completion of 60 minutes, the clock will stop. Hence, the particular section of the CAT 2016 mock test will be locked. Then candidates need to click on the submit button and proceed to the next section and start answering. The same process will be repeated for all the three sections.
As per the official website of CAT 2016, some question will be of multiple choice type (MCQ) with options and some are non-MCQ. Candidates will not be allowed to use the calculators and any other computing devices for the CAT 2016 exam. However, an on-screen calculator will be provided, which can be used by candidates.
The candidates will be provided rough sheets and pen for any rough work. They can use these sheets while appearing the test. Also they need to submit the rough sheet and pen at the end of the exam.
The CAT 2016 exam will be held on 4 December 2016 (Sunday). The candidates who have applied for CAT 2016 can download the Admit Cards can by clicking on the “Existing User” button and logging in using the credentials.
