Great Place to Work research shows the number of organizations around the world named as a Best Workplace—or that have met the minimum standard of a great workplace—has almost doubled since 2011. Roughly 2200 workplaces employing roughly 6.1 million people achieved that distinction in 2011. In 2016, the number of great workplaces has reached approximately 4100, with a total of about 6.9 million employees.
“These organizations are well known because of their brand strength and success around the globe. But behind these successful companies are high-trust workplaces where the vast majority of employees feel valued, well treated and that their work makes a difference,” said Kim Peters, executive vice president of Great Place to Work. “Appearing on the list of Best Multinational Workplaces for the second year in a row, Cadence has shown a real commitment to creating an outstanding work environment worldwide.
