Mumbai:  SVKM’s NMIMS University is all set to organise International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare on 27-28th December, 2016 at its Shirpur campus in Northern Maharashtra.

The conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare, says Dr R.S. Gaud, Chairman of the conference.

The conference will be inaugurated by Dr Shailendra Saraf, Vice President of Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.

About 12 speakers from the national and international universities and research centres will deliver their scientific lectures in the two-day international conference.

Delegates will also experience ‘How Virtual Reality blurs lines between lab teams and IT’.

Dr Vijay Kumar, Missouri University, USA; Dr Balaji Ganeshan, University of Sussex, UK; Dr Anjali Jaiprakash, Queensland University, Australia will be the international speakers and Dr P.K. Chande, Computer academician Indore; Dr Parag Kulkarni, IBM, Pune; Dr Parth Dey, Gurgaon; Dr N S Choudhari, VNIT, Nagpur and Dr Shubhangi from YCCE, Nagpur will deliver plenary lectures in the conference.

Beside this, about fifty papers in the area of pharma, Engg and AI will be presented during the conference. About 300 delegates across the country from academia, researchers and industries will attend this conference.

Dr Gaud, has pointed out that areas which will be discussed will cover building machine learning base products, digitization in healthcare servicing, disruptive technologies to medicine and healthcare, AI application in pharma industry, leadership in healthcare system, medical signal and image processing, blockchains in healthcare industry, efficacy of AI in healthcare, language structure using fuzzy similarity, deep learning as a part of AI, and AI on neural networking and action plan for internationalisation of advance health research centre.

The oral presentation in this conference is expected to boost more fruitful exchange of ideas within the international AI scientific community along with researchers and educators.
