Bhubaneswar:  Learning and Development (L&D) Global, a world-wide network of Learning and Development Practitioners, has launched its Bhubaneswar chapter today (3 July 2016). This is the sixth chapter of the professional network organization. Around 50 members attended the L&D Global Bhubaneswar Chapter launch ceremony at Nalco HRD Centre of Excellence, Bhubaneswar. The global Network was founded by Surya Prakash Mohapatra, a senior Industry thought leader in the HR space.

L&D Global has local chapters across major cities in India including Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi. The mission of L&D Global is popularly known as 3 Cs: Collaborate, Co-create and Contribute. L&D Global is making efforts to build a community of learning & development practitioners where members can collaborate to co-create new body of knowledge and contribute meaningfully for the betterment of the industry and the society.

The primary activities of the group include facilitating forums where members can collaborate, share and learn best practices and exchange ideas, facilitating networking among members across different cities and countries, and conducting training programs, Webinars, ‘Chat with Expert’ sessions for members.

“L&D Global is a world-wide network of Learning and Development Practitioners and the network has over 30,000 members across industries, counties and cultures. The Bhubaneswar chapter will play a key in eastern part of India in executing the group’s mission,” said Surya Prakash Mohapatra, founder of the Network.
