New Delhi: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has extended the closing date for submission of application for award of scholarship for the year 2017-18 under the following schemes: PG Scholarship for University Rank Holders; Indira Gandhi PG Scholarship for Single Girl Child (SGC); PG Scholarship for Professional Studies to SC/ST (PGSPROF).
The applications for the above schemes should be submitted through National Scholarship Portal (NSP): https://scholarships.gov.in/ for consideration for award of scholarship for the year 2017-18.
The application portal has opened from 20 December 2017. Earlier the online portal close was supposed to close on 31 January 2018.
The UGC has released a notification , which is uploaded its official website, on the extendtion of deadline for application for awarding scholarships to PG students 2017-18.
The eligibility criteria and other details of the schemes may be obtained from the website of UGC or National Scholarship Portal.
