Union HRD Minister appeals education institutes go for cashless mode by receiving nothing in cash and pay nothing in cash

The Union HRD Minister appealed to higher education institutes to receive nothing in cash (fee/fines/deposits) and pay nothing in cash (wages/salaries/vendor payments) and develop a cashless campus (covering shops/canteens/services). Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Mr Prakash Javadekar launched ‘Vittiya Saksharata Abhiyan’ in New Delhi yesterday (01 December 2016).
