New Delhi, 04 January 2018: There are three existing All India Civil Services, – Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service & Indian Forest Service.

Based on the recommendations of the Cadre Review Committee, the Central Government has sought views of all States / UT Governments on the proposal for creation of All India Medical Services.

This was stated by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh in a written reply to question in the Rajya Sabha yesterday (05 January 2018).
