Mumbai: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) which is recovering financially has recorded improved operating performance last year. The state run telecom service provider, BSNL, is now on recruitment drive to fill up 2700 number of junior engineer posts (erstwhile TTA) for its various circles (total 27 circles). The last date of online receipt of application is 10 August 2016 (Wednesday).
Important Dates: Online Application Registration starts: 10 July 2016; Last date of online application: 10 August 2016; Date of Online Test: 25 September 2016.
Eligibility: The candidate should Indian national citizen.
Age: Candidates should not be below 18 years old and not exceed 30 years as on the last date of receipt of online applications from the candidates (10 August 2016). Upper Age relaxation is available as per the government rules.
Educational Qualification: Three years Engineering Diploma/ BTech/BE any of the following disciplines: Telecommunications, Electronic, Electrical, Radio, Computer, Instrumentation, and Information Technology.

How to Apply: As per Job Advertisement issued by BSNL, candidates applying Junior Engineer (JE) posts should apply online for which link will be provided through BSNL website: www.externalexam.bsnl.co.in
Applications will be accepted only through the online registration process which is to start from 10 July 2016 and will be closed on 10 August 2016. The BSNL has said in the job advertisement that candidates are advised to visit its website www.bsnl.co.in
Mode of Selection: The mode of selection is through All India Online Competitive Examination, which may be held in multiple sessions depending on the number of candidates. The examination will consist of a single paper of three hours duration (per session in case of multiple sessions) having objecting type multiple choice questions. This exam will be conducted through online mode. The circle wise merit list of candidates (who have secured minimum qualifying marks as per mentioned in the recruitment notification) will be displayed in BSNl Examination Website after the All India Competitive Examination.
