New Delhi: In reference to a news report published in the media that JEE (Advanced) 2020 could see some changes in the examination pattern, IIT Delhi, the organising institute for this year exam, clarified that there are no plans to change the syllabus of the entrance examination. There is also no plan to discuss this matter in the next JAB meeting.
As of now, JEE (Advanced) 2020 is scheduled to be held on 27 September 2020.
Ramgopal Rao, Director of IIT Delhi, said “There is no change in the syllabus for JEE Advanced for 2020. Its not even a point of discussion. We are only struggling with the logistics of organizing the JEE Advanced exam (on the already announced dates) by following the social distancing norms. Even that is under control right now. So there will be no change in any aspect of JEE Advanced examination.”
Hence, students who are preparing for the JEE Advanced 2020 should take note of the developments and should not have any confusion in their minds.
Recently, there were news reports published in media that the syllabus for JEE (Advanced) 2020 could be reduced and the pattern of the exam could be changed amid COVID19 pandemic. Now after clarification from IIT Delhi, the organising institute for this year exam, this news is false and misleading.
