New Delhi, 22 September 2020: PhD Admission for the current semester is at the end phase. On the other hand PhD Admission for coming semester (December 2020/January 2020) has commenced as IIT Bombay, IIT Palakkad and IIM Ahemedabad have notified PhD Admission for January 2021 session.
As on 22 September 2020, there are 15 public or state universities or institutes have opened PhD Admission. These universities include two IITs, One IIITs, two central universities.
Admission for Ph.D. Programme for the Academic year (2020-21) – Spring Semester is open in IIT Bombay. IIT Palakkad has released PhD Admission notification for December 2020. Atal Bihari Vajpayee -Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (ABV-IIITM) Gwalior, an Institute of National Importance, has released PhD Admission Notification for 2020. Both Full Time and Part Time PhD is available for Admission.
Visva-Bharati University, Shanti Niketan, a Central University has extended the closing date for submission of application to 25 September 2020. Mizoram University, a Central University, has announced PhD Admission for 2020-21 where the closing date for submission of application is 30 September 2020.
State Universities such as Bharathidasan University, Tirichirappalli, Madurai Kamraj University, and North Orissa University have opened their PhD Admission window.
University of Queensland – IIT Delhi Academy of Research and IIT Bombay – Monash Research Academy, which offer Joint PhD in collaboration with foreign universities, have announced PhD Admission for December 2020 session.
