IIT Kanpur Announces PhD & MS Admission with Fellowships for Semester II 2021-22
Kanpur, 19 October 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur, an Institute of National Importance, has announced admission to PhD & MSc (By Research) Admission for Semester II – 2021-22.
Fellowships: Financial support (Institute Assistantship/Scholarship) will be provided to non-sponsored PhD, MTech and MS (By Research) students.
Key Dates: The online applications portal (for Indian Nationals only) will be available from 08 October 2021 (01:00 PM) up to 05 November 2021 (11:59 PM).
IIT Madras Announces PhD, Direct PhD & MS (by Research) Admission January 2022 with Fellowships
Chennai, 19 October 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, an Institute of National Importance, has opened application window for PhD/Direct PhD/MS (by Research) Admission January 2022 Semester. Scholars admitted to PhD and MS programmes under Regular scheme are eligible for the following Half-Time Research Assistantship (HTRA).
Fellowships: Scholars admitted to PhD and M.S. programmes under Regular scheme are eligible for the following Half-Time Research Assistantship (HTRA). PhD Candidates will get Rs 31,000 /- Per Month while MS (By Research) candidates will get Rs 12,400 Per Month. They should work for 8 hours per week in the Departments to earn this assistantship.
Key Dates: The online application portal has opened from 18 October 2021. The last date of Receipt of Online Application is 08 November 2021.
Written Test and Interview: Intimation on “written test and interview” or “interview” indicating the date, time & venue will be communicated by the respective Departments through email to the shortlisted candidates.
IIT Delhi Announces PhD & MS (R) Admission Semester II 2021-22 with Research Assistantship
New Delhi, 08 October 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, an Institution of Eminence (IoE), has released Admission Notification for PhD, and MS (R) Programmes – Semester II 2021-22. IIT Delhi offers 30 PhD Programmes with extensive choices of specializations. Full Time PhD Scholars are eligible for Teaching/Research Assistantship.
IIT Delhi informed that meritorious students with a bachelor’s degree (such as BTech.) are advised to directly apply for the PhD programmes if they wish to pursue doctoral research.

Gandhinagar, 24 September 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar, an Institute of National Importance, has announced PhD Admission for Semester II 2021-22. Regular(RR) and Continuing Doctoral Programme (CDP) are available.
IIT Gandhinagar informed that in view of the current COVID 19 situation, Interview will be held via Online mode.
Students joining the PhD program as regulars (RR) will be considered for Institute Fellowship based on the Ministry of Education norms.

Mumbai, 01 September 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, an Institute of National Importance, has announced PhD Admission for Spring Semester 2021-22. Regular PhD students will be eligible for Research Assistantship (RA) and Teaching Assistantship (TA) [Financial support as per MHRD norm]. The sanctioned strength for PhD Programme for the year 2021-22 is 431.
