New Delhi: Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi will launch the new Syllabus of Education and Training for CA students on 01 July 2017 on the occasion of 68th Chartered Accountants Day. The Prime Minister will also address the 68th Chartered Accountants Day celebrations, to be held in IG Indoor Stadium, New Delhi on the same day.
The syllabus revision has been done in line with International Education Standards of the International Federation of Accountants. Earlier, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), regulator of the profession of Chartered Accountancy in India, had already notified that the Revised Scheme of Education and Training for Chartered Accountants (CA) course will come into effect from 1 July, 2017.
Chartered Accountant is one of the most sought after professions in India. ICAI, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conducts the process and certifies the students as a Chartered Accountant (CA) after candidates successfully complete the course.
The ICAI conducts Chartered Accountancy Examination twice a year since 1949.
